LSU picks up commitment No.13

Outside linebacker Ryan Baker of Blounston, Florida is LSU's thirteenth commitment for the 2008 recruiting class. The highly touted Florida prospect chose the Tigers over offers from Florida, Clemson, Alabama, Arkansas, Ole Miss, South Carolina and others.

"LSU felt like home to me," Baker said. "I'm a Tiger right now and I think that I want to stay a Tiger.

Coach Miles and his staff talked to me a lot about how I am a key ingredient to their defenses of the future and can help their defense get to where they want to be. Hopefully when I arrive we can get there."

At 6-foot-0, 210-pounds, Baker runs the 40-yard dash in 4.55 seconds. He finished his junior season with over 130 tackles and 8.5 sacks.
