Glenn wants early opportunity

Riverdale (Ga.) offensive lineman Cordy Glenn has narrowed his focus to five schools. The 6-foot-6, 315 pound tackle mostly has his eyes on the Southeastern Conference, and he expects to make a decision on his verbal commitment in the next month.

Glenn lists Alabama, Georgia, LSU, South Carolina and Miami as the schools in his top five. He's being recruited by LSU assistant Doug Mallory, and said on Tuesday he's been hearing from other members of the Tiger coaching staff as well.

"I spoke to the offensive line coach (Greg Studrawa) a couple weeks ago," Glenn said. "He was just telling me about how I have a chance to play, that if I don't start my freshman year, I'll probably start in my second year."
