Perry will wait
Listed as the No. 5 player in the state, Detroit King defensive end Nick Perry is now the highest ranked, uncommitted prospect in Michigan. He watched two of the players ranked ahead of him, Detroit Country Day running back Jonas Gray and Detroit Southeastern wide receiver Fred Smith, make decisions in the past week, but has no plans to render his decision this summer.
Of his top five, only Michigan State is still pursuing him as a hybrid defensive end/outside linebacker. The rest of the schools are recruiting Perry as a rush defensive end.
