Notebook: Bruins lose freshman RB

Sometimes in life there is duality. On one hand the Bruins are off to their best camp in years. Based on the first three days there is a lot to be excited about if you are a Bruin fan. Then there is Raymond Carter the talented UCLA freshman who will miss the entire season because of an ACL injury.

Carter was one of those rookies who were going to get every opportunity to contribute to this team, but now he has a long rehab ahead of him.

Thankfully this is an experienced team and they are practicing like it and they will move on. For many seniors they know that nothing but their best effort will do. This is their last chance to make a mark on the program and by doing so catching the eye of the NFL for a chance to play this game that they love some more.
