Pinkard getting his shot
Rocky Seto first saw it when Josh Pinkard drove fullback Stanley Havili into a plyon during Wednesday's practice. Pinkard first felt it when he crashed into running back Stafon Johnson, earlier that day.
It was the vision - and the feeling - of a player whose instincts have cleared out his mind, allowing him to forget last year's ailments and knock the snot out of another human without fearing for his own wellbeing.
"Sometimes, guys get hampered by what has happened in the past," said Seto, USC's secondary coach. "I was really excited about it and really proud of the fact that (Pinkard) was able to let it go like that."
