AJ Harmon visits Clemson, takes in scrimmage

A.J. Harmon spent Saturday in Clemson on an unofficial visit.

"I went up with my special teams coach Damien Poscell and we got in around 10:35 in the morning," Harmon told Saturday evening. "We stayed for about five hours or so. We went straight to Death Valley right away."

The outspoken Tiger commit liked plenty of what he saw of his future club as he watched them in their first scrimmage of camp.

"They looked good," he noted. "It was cool to see how the players react. I was impressed with James Davis and C.J. Spiller of course. Marcus Gilchrist really looked good. You could tell that Willy Korn will be a great QB one day. He's not there yet though. Cullen Harper surprised me and he looked good, too."
