Michigan OL coming on strong

Offensive line recruiting is critical for Michigan State Head Coach Mark Dantonio and his staff this year. The thing about offensive line recruiting is that unlike skill position players, it is the hardest to evaluate. That is why it is so critical for linemen to go to camps to work with their prospect coaches.'s No. 31 ranked player in Michigan for the class of 2008 John Deyo of Gull Lake High School in Richland Michigan camped at Michigan Stat this summer, and that exposure could play off with a Spartan scholarship offer in the near future.

Deyo is a 6-foot-6 270-pound prospect that plays on both sides of the ball for Gull Lake High School. This year he will be a 3-year starter on the offensive line as well as play on the defensive line and long snap for kicks and punts for Gull Lake.

Deyo hit four camps this summer, Michigan State, Michigan, Western Michigan and Central Michigan. He had strong performance at every camp he attended. His performance at Central and Western was good enough to produce scholarship offers.
