NU Notes: Huskers have big day on the ground

Nebraska may not have as much depth at I-back as it did in 2006, but the Huskers made it clear during Saturday's 52-10 win over Nevada that the running game will again be the foundation of their offensive game plan.

The Huskers finished the day with 413 rushing yards, the most ever by a Bill Callahan-coached Nebraska team. The previous high rushing total during the Callahan tenure was 363 yards against Western Illinois in the 2004 season opener (Callahan's first game at NU).
