Monday Practice Notebook: The return of Tim Brown

While the rest of the world took this Labor Day off, the Scarlet Knights labored through another practice in preparation for Friday night's game against Navy. Here's some of the work that went into Monday's practice.

Player of the week

Wide receiver Tiquan Underwood was named the Big East offensive player of the week. Underwood's 248 receiving yards set a school record and placed him second on the all time Big East list for receiving yards in a game.

Welcome back Timmy

Sophomore speedster Tim Brown worked out with the team during pre game warm-ups against Buffalo. Brown did not see any action but that should change this Friday night.

"I expect Timmy to play," said head coach Greg Schiano. "I don't know to what extent, but I expect him to play. Timmy can do anything, we're just limiting the times he gets hit."
