Bruins aren't taking BYU lightly

Wednesday's practice is in the books as the Bruins prepare to take on the BYU Cougars. It doesn't appear that UCLA is taking BYU lightly far from it. The defense has practiced with a lot of purpose. The defense looks like they can't wait to get back in action.

Ben Olson also looked smooth throwing the football. Hat's off to new offensive coordinator Jay Norvell who has his offense playing with a lot of confidence.

After practice, as is the custom, Bruin head coach Karl Dorrell met the media for is after practice Q&A.

Dorrell: "Well we're trudging forward with BYU. Rodney Van is still sore so he did some things on the side during the early part of practice. We gave him some rest time. It will probably be a game time decision about him so we will just see what happens in his case.
