Top junior talks USC

The recruiting process can often leads to hurt feelings and burnt bridges, but for Cierre Wood of Oxnard (Calif.) Santa Clara, recruiting will quite literally be about building bridges.

The 6-foot, 194-pound junior running back may just be entering his junior year of high school, but he already has his eyes focused on the future, potentially one that does not include professional football.

"At this point it's really hard to tell," Wood said about what will ultimately decide where he goes to school, "Because I do know what I want to do besides playing sports, I want to be an engineer.
