Offense: First Third season recap

Four games into the season, the Georgia Bulldogs have had their ups and downs, but that is about what was expected from a team that was reloading at so many positions. At 3-1, the No. 15 Dawgs are currently tied with Vanderbilt for 4th place in the SEC's Eastern Division. Here is a quick look back at the first third of the 2007 campaign.

Overall, the Bulldogs are pleased with starter Matthew Stafford, who has completed 70 of 123 passes for 845 touchdowns and six touchdowns. Occasionally, the sophomore still gets in trouble by throwing off his back foot, which sometimes leads to wild throws. While some have questioned Stafford's consistency, fans must remember that this is a 19-year-old young man. He's going to get better. He's already pretty good.

Stafford isn't afraid to make a throw, and with one of the strongest arms in the SEC, that's probably his greatest attribute. The Bulldogs will continue to go as far as Stafford's arm can take them.
