Cierre Wood is a team player
Running back Cierre Wood has already become one of the more highly recruited class of 2009 prospects and that attention will only intensify over the next year. Wood, who is 6-foot-0 and 196-pounds, might be the star player on his team at Santa Clara High School in Oxnard, Calif., but he epitomizes a classic team type of player that any Division-I program would love to have. Teams have noticed that and his performance from last year and this year as a junior.
Football is a team sport and as stated Cierre Wood understands that fact. He gave the following comments to what makes him stand out on the gridiron.
Rivals.com has recently been showing one official scholarship offer, but that has now been corrected to four total - Wake Forest, Florida, Nebraska and San Diego State. Most of the four teams are looking for him to play running back, but there is some variance.
