Reynolds returns to the field Saturday

The Big 12 Conference has become a conference of wide open offenses since Mike Leach planted his roots in this area of the country back in 1999.

Front sevens of the past have given way to nickel and dime packages in the secondary.

Strongside linebackers have become more like strong safeties than bruising linebackers.

And looking across the Big 12 Conference, superstar linebackers have become nearly as extinct as superstar running backs.

In a world of pass first offenses, the linebackers and front sevens have little opportunities to get down and dirty.

But that will change for Oklahoma this weekend as Texas A&M and their run-oriented offense hits Norman.

And with players like Mike Goodson and Javorskie Lane coming to town, the front seven can finally gear up for a physical confrontation.

Coming off of a bye-week, the Sooners couldn't be more prepared to take on the Aggies.
