Dorrell and Bruins to press on
Well here we go. There are three games left on the season and the injuries continue to mount as the Bruins head into the eye of the hurricane part of their schedule. It may be hard to believe, but if the Bruins win out they go to the Rose Bowl and that's what makes college football so much fun.
Coach Karl Dorrell as is customary met with the media for his weekly post game/pregame discussion.
Dorrell: "Good afternoon, I would like to begin with our injury report. Just spoke with Patrick Cowan and he's on his way back from Arizona right now. He's not allowed to fly yet because of his injury with his lung. He also sustained a concussion in the game, but all the tests we did in Arizona came back negative. They think it will be a quick recovery for him and he's in good spirits and he's on his way back as we speak. The doctors have not determined how long his injury or his status will be so that would be determined at some later time.
"Christian Ramirez one of our reserve running backs also had a concussion in the game. He will be listed as day-to-day so he still has as of yesterday some symptoms in regards to his injury and he's feeling better today so he will be listed as day to day in terms of the protocol that our doctors do with concussions.
"Scott Glicksberg one of our reserve tight ends. He also had an injury in the game, he had an AC sprain. He will be out this week. They're estimating at least two to three weeks so we will have to see how he responds some time later.
