UCLA football back to practice
The team looked a little bit rusty, but that is to be expected after having the week off and busting their tails for finals. One thing that was unanimously agreed upon is the energy is high and the pace of the practice very quick. There also seems to be a lot more noise out there.
After the practice interim head coach DeWayne Walker met with the press to talk about the Bruins as they prepare for the Pioneer Las Vegas Bowl.
Do the players remember how to play football?
Walker: "We're getting there, we're getting there. Let's watch the tape first and we will see.
Do you have a decision who will start at quarterback?
Walker: "Yeah, Ben Olson is going to start. Patrick Cowan is still trying to get healthy and Osaar Rasshan will be in a backup roll so we are going to bank on Ben right now.
