Bruins getting ready for Vegas
The Bruins will hold their walk-thru practice this morning (December 18th) before heading to Las Vegas later today for a little sharpening for the Pioneer Las Vegas against BYU. One thing that is noticeable is the noise at practice by both players and coaches alike.
As interim head coach DeWayne Walker alluded to the press after practice. The defense was corrected on the spot for lack of performance, and then they got busy.
How did you like how your guys were doing today?
Walker: "I kind of jumped the defense a little bit. They just needed a nice foot today, so we gave it to them.
Has BYU changed much looking at the film from recent games to when you played them early in the season?
Walker: "No. not really, they have a very good offense. They're going to do, what they do. They're going to say stop us. They have great execution and good coaching so they are going to be handful for us once again.
