Dawgs offer talented junior linebacker

Offers one and two came from Florida State and Clemson and offer number three came from the in-state Georgia Bulldogs. Talented junior linebacker Eric Fields has been looking for an offer from UGA and he picked it up on Tuesday.

"Georgia came by the school (Northside Warner Robins) Tuesday and they watched me lifts weights and then they offered me a scholarship," said Fields.

"Coach [Rodney] Garner came by and he shook my hand, but said he couldn't talk to me, so he told my coach he was offering me verbally and that the written offer would be coming in the mail."

The offer from Georgia is one Fields was waiting for.

"I am excited about this offer. I was hoping Georgia would offer me. I have always liked Georgia and I would love to play football for the Bulldogs."
