Smith's name is getting out

If you are looking for a versatile athlete with a lot of speed that could play multiple positions on the next level, then look no further than Atlanta (Ga.) at Washington High School. That is the home of Branden Smith and schools are already showing him interest.

"I am getting a lot of letters from different schools," said Smith. "Clemson, Auburn, Georgia, Indiana and Duke send me the most right now. I get a lot though and my coach gets some sent to him for me too."

Some pretty big schools have roamed the halls at Booker T. Washington asking Head Coach Rodney Cofield about his star player as well.

"FSU, Georgia and LSU have been by I know, but I think have come too," he said. "I have seen some other schools, but I am not sure who they were. I am not allowed to talk to them yet, so the only ones I know of are the three (FSU, UGA and LSU) before."

Many more schools will visit the Atlanta school during the spring evaluation period and offers will likely arrive before that. None are in yet, but it should not be much longer.
