Future Impact: Casey

Long Beach Poly High School is certainly one of the most frequented high schools in America when it comes to football recruiting.

It should come as no surprise considering that Poly has put more football players in the NFL than any other high school. 2008 is no exception as a number of players on the Jackrabbit squad are receiving heavy recruiting attention.

As a junior, Casey managed 104 tackles and 10 sacks only to outdo himself a year later as a senior when he recorded 134 tackles and seven sacks, amazing numbers for a nose tackle.

Now ranked as a four-star prospect and widely considered the best defensive tackle in the west, Casey has decided to put the recruiting process behind him and has selected the hometown USC Trojans over the Oregon Ducks. Casey now becomes the 17th commitment for the Trojans in 2008.
