WVU commitment list grows by one

West Virginia picked up its 20th commitment of the freshman class of 2008 on Jan. 27 when linebacker-safety Jatavious Miller decided on the Mountaineers on an official visit to the University City.

"I am going to West Virginia because I know it is the place for me," the 6-foot, 190-pound Pahokee (Fla.) senior told West Virginia Sports Report Tuesday night. "I decided on my visit but I have been keeping it to myself. Coach (Bill) Stewart and Doc (Holliday) came down to see me after I had visited them and they told me I would be given a chance to play right away, but it's up to me."
