Spring Preview: Wide Receiver

Depth is something Bears have lacked at certain positions in the past but receiver has always had a few playmakers. Just a few seasons ago Trent Shelton and Dominique Zeigler re-wrote the record books and before them there was Reggie Newhouse.

In 2007 the passing game was pretty much all the Bears had going for them and their two most experienced receivers, Thomas White and Mikail Baker, missed a combined 13 games and Baker was awarded a medical redshirt after a broken collar bone suffered against Rice forced him to miss the remainder of the 2007 season.
