Pitt offers DE from Ohio state champs

Last year Cincinnati St Xavier finished their season unbeaten at 15-0. They won the Ohio state Division 1 state championship by beating Dublin Coffman in the state semi finals and Mentor in the state finals at Fawcett Stadium in Canton. It was the second time in three years the Bombers have won the Ohio state championship. They finished the year ranked No. 2 in the country by Rivals High.

With that kind of success you are likely to be found by college recruiters and St Xavier defensive end Pat Muldoon (6' 4" 250) has been found.

"All of the schools are recruiting me as a defensive end right now. My weight ranges from 247-255. I guess I could put on weight and play defensive tackle."

With 16 offers in hand Muldoon does not plan on attending any combines.

As a junior Muldoon was first team all-conference and first team All-Southwest District. He was a second team all-station selection.

Muldoon is an excellent student with a 3.8 GPA. He is being by Pitt's new defensive coordinator Phil Bennett.
