Moody's not slowing down this off-season

Twin City (Ga.) Emaunel County Institute linebacker Dexter Moody may have pulled in early offers from schools like Florida and Georgia, he may already be one of the top players at his position in the state, and he has his name stamped on UGA's commitment list, but he is not slowing down this off-season.

Moody is an athlete that is all over the field for Coach Milan Turner and the ECI Bulldogs. He delivers bone crushing hits on special teams, he blitzes the quarterback off the edge, he meets the running backs in the hole, and he chases the ball 20 yards down the field.

Many schools recognized his talents early and he picked up three offers before the class of 2008 had a chance to sign their letters of intent.

Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina offered Moody, but he had one school on his mind and that was UGA. He may be committed to the Dawgs and he knows he has his scholarship locked up, but he is only working harder because of that.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound athlete helped lead Emanuel County Institute to a perfect 15-0 record and the A State Championship in the State of Georgia in 2007.

He and the Bulldogs are going for back to back titles and he is hitting the weights hard. We traveled down to the small town of Twin City recently to get a look of Moody getting stronger.
