Four-star QB pulls the trigger

Four-star Allan Bridgford (6-4, 217, 4.7) from Mission Viejo, Calif., has decided to make his college decision so that he can concentrate on his senior season and help is college team on the recruiting trail.

"When I went up to Cal, I really fell in love with the school," Bridgford said. "The Cal coaches were a perfect match for me. It was a great personality fit for me.

"Obviously Coach Jeff Tedford is a great quarterback coach," Bridgford said. "His resume speaks for itself and Frank Cignetti has been around the league and college football his whole life being the son of a coach. I've heard only the best things about Coach Cignetti.

"I'm really excited about going to Cal," Bridgford said. "I'm the first committed player for this class and they are going to build this class around me and I'm excited about helping recruit for Cal."
