Johnson has Duck in his sights

The Oregon Ducks don't have a lot of scholarships available to give out in the secondary for 2009. One defensive back who is on their radar is James Johnson (6'0", 185, 4.55), a junior safety from 4A Valley Center High school in San Diego California. Duck Sports Authority talked to James earlier this week.

"Coach Neal offered me a scholarship, then had to back off. He said that before he could for sure offer me he had to check it out with some one else. At this point I think they are going to offer, but I can't be totally sure, as I have not spoken to coach Neal for two weeks." James told us. "I want to go to Oregon. I have been a fan of that school since my freshman year. I will be at Oregon checking it out on June 7th. I love everything about them. Especially the great atmosphere, and the uniforms are out of this world, and they win."
