The verdict is in for Glenn
It came down to the wire academically for four-star offensive tackle Cordy Glenn. He worked hard this final semester, he focused on getting to Athens in June, and he was rewarded in the end.
"I did really well on my exams last week and I am good to go to Georgia," said Glenn. "I got my acceptance letter from Georgia over the weekend and I am getting ready to fill out the paperwork for my room and all of that."
The good news is a relief for the 6-foot-6, 315-pound tackle out of Riverdale (GA).
"I worked hard and I am very excited about getting what I needed in all of my classes. I knew I had a god chance to make it, so I just worked hard."
"It feels good to have it over with and I am now ready to get to Georgia."
He will be moving to Athens in the coming days.
"I graduate on Saturday and then I am planning to be at Georgia on Sunday," he said.
"I don't really have any time off, but I will be ready to get over there."
Riverdale counselor confirmed the news that we received from Glenn today as well.
"Cordy's grades are in and they look great," said William Silveri. "I will be express mailing his final transcript out to UGA [Wednesday] morning."
"He should be all set to enroll at Georgia once his grades get processed through admissions and the clearinghouse."
Glenn will be wearing number 71 at the University of Georgia.
