Everett looks ready

If the 7-on-7 drills are any indication then look for seasons out of senior wide receiver Marcus Everett and true freshman Antwon Moutra. Both players have been exceptional and displaying excellent big play capabilities.

Everett looks so smooth with his route running and his hands are extremely soft. If the line gives the quarterback some time and Everett stays healthy, he looks like he could have a career year. He has been outstanding all three practices that I have seen.

Getting back to Moutra, the freshman sensation, he is now getting double teams from the defense and he has earned the respect he has been given. Before Moutra's career is done and if his performance during the 7-on7's is an indicator this guy is going to be special.

Even though Moutra is getting most of the ink, the other two freshmen wide receivers, Jerry Johnson and Nelson Rosario also has great potential. This is a talented group of freshmen wide receivers. Moutra just has a little more polish right now.

It is going to be fun watching these kids when training camp rolls around.
