White planning to wait before making decision

DeSoto cornerback Adrian White seemingly didn't have a whole lot to prove this summer.

In April, White was named the top defensive back at the Nike camp in Fort Worth even though he was an underclassman. In June, he attended camps at both Oklahoma and Texas and won accolades at both campuses for his ability to jam receivers at the line of scrimmage and recover and run with them after the initial jam.

The 5-foot-11, 169-pound White is gaining heavy interest from Texas A&M, Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. He has been verbally offered by Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. Prospects in the class of 2010 cannot be officially offered until Sept. 1, 2008.
