Robinson trims list to five

Thomas Robinson began the spring and summer AAU circuit as somewhat of a virtual unknown. By the time the circuit ended, the 6-foot-8, 210-pound power forward from Brewster Academy had emerged as one of the most heavily recruited players in the class. When the week started, 18 schools were listed on Robinson's, but the four-star prospect just informed Jayhawk Slant that his list has been trimmed and just five programs are left standing.

When the week started, Robinson, the No. 82 ranked prospect in the class of 2009, was considering Boston College (offer), George Washington (offer), Georgetown, Georgia, Kansas (offer), Kentucky (offer), Louisville (offer), Marquette (offer), Maryland (offer), Memphis, Miami, Minnesota, Oklahoma (offer), Pittsburgh (offer), South Florida (offer), Texas, Virginia (offer), Virginia Tech (offer) and others.
