Q&A with safety Anthony Perkins

BOULDER, Colo. - Ryan Walters missed spring ball as he recovered from post-season shoulder surgery, giving redshirt freshman Anthony Perkins an opportunity to work with the first-team defense. He showed well enough to earn the Hale Irwin Award, which is given to the most improved defensive back during spring drills.

We caught up with Perkins following Wednesday morning's practice to see how preseason camp is going.
