Dawgs impress 2010 receiver

Georgia has had a number of talented underclassmen on their campus in the recent weeks for unofficial visits. They hosted another talented junior this past Friday when Tailer Jones returned to the classic city.

"The visit went real good," said Jones after his fourth visit to Athens since early June. "As soon as I got there, I got to watch them go through their scripted scrimmage and that was nice. The speed the game and the speed of the players is a lot different than high school."

After watching the Dawgs knock each other around for a little while, the 6-foot-0, 174 pound receiver saw what the town of Athens is like.

"I took a tour of the campus, I saw the dorms, and I got to see the facilities again. I had seen a lot of those things before, but it is all very nice. I like the campus at Georgia and the facilities are great."

While watching the scrimmage, he had his eye on his position. One true freshman really stood out to him Friday afternoon.

"A.J. Green jumped out at me. His play is incredible and he definitely played up to his name. He caught a couple of passes and he was someone that really jumped out at me. He is everything people said he would be."

He spent a lot of time talking with Georgia's receiving coaches John Eason and Bryan McClendonduring practice and the Head Coach would check in from time to time too.
