Four-star looking at visits

Four-star fullback/running back Tyler Gaffney (6-0, 215, 4.5) from San Diego (Calif.) Cathedral Catholic is one of the most sought after players from the San Diego area for the class of 2009. A great all-around athlete, Gaffney is also a big time prospect for his skills as a baseball player. Needless to say, Gaffney has had a very busy summer.

"I've just been doing a lot of baseball, just lifting and doing the summer football thing," Gaffney said. "I haven't set any official visits up yet, but I definitely do want to take some.

"I'd like to visit USC, Stanford and Notre Dame. Those are three, I'm not sure of any others yet. I'm still looking into it."

Gaffney was selected to the Rivals.com California Preseason Top 100 team for the class of 2009 landing as the Golden State's No. 32 prospect at any position. Rivals.com also ranks him as the country's No. 3 fullback prospect.
