Auburn preparing for dangerous Holliday

Trindon Holliday can change a game in a matter of seconds.

And in a series as hard fought and close as Auburn-LSU, LSU's star punt and kick returner, could be a difference-maker in Saturday night's SEC West clash.

Auburn head coach Tommy Tuberville is making sure his Tigers are fully prepared for Holliday and LSU's return teams.

"We're playing one of the better returners in the country," Tuberville said. "In my lifetime of watching guys return, he's about as elusive (as I've seen).

"You've got to challenge him and get down the field and use your technique and fundamentals."

Considered the SEC's and perhaps the nation's fastest football player, Holliday ran a 10.02 100-meter at last year's NCAA Track and Field Championships. In his two-plus years playing football for the Tigers, he's returned two kickoffs and one punt for touchdowns including a 92-yard punt return against North Texas last week.

The 5-foot-6 Holliday currently leads the nation averaging 40.8 yards per punt return. He's returned two kickoffs for a 24-yard average
