Irish finally win sack race

Notre Dame fixed its pass rush by not changing it. Held to just one sack through four games, which ranked the Irish below every FBS program not coached by Tyrone Willingham, Notre Dame entered Saturday with almost an unearned confidence. Despite evidence that screamed for change, Corwin Brown stuck to his blitzes against Stanford. It paid off.
