Byrnes 2010 DL duo visits Georgia

Two of the top 2010 defensive linemen on this side of the country visited the University of Georgia over the weekend. Brandon Willis entered Athens with an offer from the Bulldogs while Corey Miller was still waiting.

Both of these talented underclassmen have multiple offers from schools in the ACC and SEC.

Miller has offers from Maryland, Tennessee, Clemson, South Carolina, North Carolina, California, Stanford, Texas A&M, and Nebraska, but the Dawgs have still not pulled the trigger.

"I talked with Coach Fabris a lot on Saturday and he basically had the same talk with me that he had with me before," said Miller. "He told me to stay focused, to keep playing hard, and all of that will soon pay off for me. He told me if he didn't really didn't like me and if he didn't think I was a great athlete, then he wouldn't be recruiting me the way that he is."

After talking with Coach Fab, the 6-foot-3, 227 pound defensive end out of Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes took in the game. He was at a UGA game a year when the Dawgs hosted Kentucky. Miller says this one was better.

"The crowd was better, the atmosphere was better, and it was louder at this game. The whole team played good, the atmosphere was very good, and it pretty good game."

During the four quarters, Miller watched his position. UGA is a school he is interested in, while Tennessee is a school he has an offer from.

"I really focused on the defensive lines from both schools. From what I saw, Tennessee's defensive line didn't play as well as Georgia's and Georgia just took over that game."
