Aggies offer junior QB

Killeen (TX) Shoemaker junior quarterback Jameill Showers has seen his stock rising with a strong season for the Grey Wolves this year. Although his team was picked to finish last in their district, he has them on the cusp of a playoff berth entering the final week of the season. His statline has also been steadily improving each week.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound dual-threat passer is on the radar of several college programs and recently picked up his first offer. It came from an in-state program in Texas A&M when Showers talked to Aggie head coach Mike Sherman on Sunday evening.

"Yes sir, Texas A&M, they offered me just the other day," said Showers. "I called coach Sherman [Sunday] because he said he couldn't call me but I could call him. I called him and talked to him and they offered me [Sunday]."
