Behind Enemy Lines: Texas A&M
SoonerScoop.com hopes to not only bring you the news from the Oklahoma side of things but just as importantly a look at what is going on with their opponent each week. This week the Sooners travel to a traditional house of horrors, Texas A&M's Kyle Field. We've caught up with AggieYell.com's Troy Miller who covers the Aggies as a beat reporter to talk about this weekend's game.
SS.com: Oklahoma reporters have a lot of opinions on why the Soooners have struggled fairly consistently in College Station; from an A&M side of things why is it that you feel the Aggies have had so much success against what on paper appear to be more talented Sooner squads?
Troy Miller: Oklahoma has always been a big game for A&M and its fans. The Sooners have usually been No. 1 or No. 2 when playing at Kyle Field this decade, and it's just that everyone gets up for that game. The Aggies have also had some pretty extraordinary individual efforts such at Ja'Mar Toombs in 2000 and Reggie McNeal in 2002. The biggest question to me is why doesn't A&M have that same type of drive against OU on the road.
