Video: Dexter Moody makes plays

One of Georgia's most exciting commitments to watch is Dexter Moody. He will make big hits, he will chase down the ball carriers, he will flatten the quarterback, and he also scores touchdowns on offense.

Moody is a 6-foot-2, 205 pound linebacker out of Emanuel County Institute in Twin City (GA).

He lines up at linebacker the majority of the time for the Bulldogs, but he also rushes off the edge, carries the ball out of the backfield, and catches passes from the receiver position.

At UGA, he will likely line up on the second level of defense at outside linebacker. He plays with a high level of speed and does an excellent job of tracking down the football.

We had a camera on Moody earlier this year and you can see him lay the wood, chase the ball, and score a game winning touchdown right here in an E.C.I. win over Savannah Christian.

Quick Notes: Moody will join his teammate and fellow UGA commitment Washaun Ealey in the Under-Armor All-American game on January 4, 2009. He chose UGA over early offers from the likes of Florida, FSU, and South Carolina.
