Sonny Tevaga back on track

Sophomore offensive lineman Sonny Tevaga returned to practice after being given the weekend off to contemplate what it means to be part of this UCLA football program. Obviously he means much to him because he was back in uniform and practicing Tuesday. Tevaga met with the media after practice.

Were you feeling down about either how your season was going?

Tevaga: "Yeah, pretty much."

What is the great lesson you have learned from this?

Tevaga: "Just to be positive. Coach always says to be relentlessly positive. I just have to do that every day."

When you say you were down because you weren't on the field as much?

Tevaga: "Not only that, but we are having a bad season and have a bad record. We're losing right now, but we had a good win at Washington. I wasn't a part of that, but I am happy that we won though."

Is this ordeal over?

Tevaga: "Yeah, I'm going to be relentlessly positive."
