Redshirt Report: Munir Prince

During practices leading up to a bowl game, the emphasis for most teams is on developing younger players for the season to come. The Tigers held their first open practice in Columbia last week and will have four more over the weekend. During this time, will bring subscribers a series of stories about players who redshirted this season and who may see significant time on the field next season. Today, we continue with Munir Prince, who sat out this year after transferring from Notre Dame. Where have you made the biggest improvement in your game?

MP: "I think my technique. I used to just use my speed and just try to stay with people, but now you know, I'm starting to use my feet a little bit more. My footwork is quicker and I'm starting to break on the ball better." You've been here a full year now. How happy are you with the whole decision to transfer?

MP: "I'm very happy. It was tough sitting out, not going to the bowl game, not going to the away games, but all in all, I like being back close to home, I like being around my teammates and everything. I think it was a good decision."
