2010 CB is big time!

With a huge 2008 season now in the rearview mirror, the Frogs can now begin to build upon their successes. With a solid class just about wrapped up for 2009, the 2010 class is beginning to come into focus. PurpleMenace.Com caught up with TCU's newest 2010 target, Desoto, TX cornerback, Adrian White to get his thoughts on the recruiting process.

"It's going really good right now" said White. "I'm really enjoying the process and the chance to meet all the coaches from different schools."

With a double digit offer list that includes offers from schools such as LSU, Cal, OU, Stanford, Oklahoma State, Nebraska, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt and many others, it's clear that White is a wanted man. With plans to visit the Texas Longhorn junior day on February the 8th, White expects a Longhorn offer during his visit. While discussing junior day visits, he mentioned another school that he'd like to visit for as well.

"TCU wants me to come down for their junior day and I'm probably going to" said White. "I'm not sure what day they're having it but I'm going to try to make it. They offered me and I've been on campus before for a Nike camp last year and I like what I was able to see."

While it looks like a long shot for the Frogs to land White, he maintains that he is open to everyone right now. An article by the Oklahoma Sooners Rivals.com site quoted White as saying he had narrowed his list to five or six schools. When asked about that, White stated otherwise.

"Everyone has a chance right now" he said. "Even if Texas offers me on my visit there, I'm probably going to wait it out. I'm in no hurry to make a decision."

So what is it that the talented Texan is looking for in a school?

"I'm looking for a school that has a great coaching staff, a school that has warm weather and I want to see how the players interact with each other. The biggest thing to me will be the atmosphere at the stadium and the quality of education I can get, we'll just have to see what each school can offer me."

There's no doubt that White will haul in many more offers before it's all said and done. The talented defender will have his choice of just about any school in the country. Does TCU have a chance? Maybe, maybe not, but the Frogs are going to give it their best shot.
