Blue Devils hoping to create pipeline
If Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, Georgia rings a bell to die-hard Duke football fans it's probably because it is currently the home of three-star defensive end Brandon Putnam, who just signed with Duke on Wednesday. It's also home to a talented junior that already holds an offer from the Blue Devils.
At 6-foot-2 and 175-pounds, safety Isaiah Johnson is a force in the secondary for Sandy Creek. He tied a school record with seven interceptions in the fall and also had 75 tackles to go along with 12 pass breakups.
