SoCal RB hitting stride

Running back Lucky Radley (5-10, 187, 4.43) from Agoura, Calif., first burst into the consciousness of recruitneks was when he was the starting middle linebacker for an Encino (Calif.) Crespi team that played Long Beach (Calif.) Poly.

For his sophomore and remember while playing as an undersized middle linebacker, Radley earned first-team all-state, first-team all-area, first-team all-league and first-team all-CIF.

While playing at his more natural running back, he still earned all-league and all-CIF (HM) after rushing for 1,020 yards and 23 touchdowns. Also proving that he's a threat out of the backfield, he hauled in 23 receptions for 261 yards and three receiving touchdowns.

On the recruiting trail, he has heard from most of the Pac 10 and even SEC schools; Alabama, Florida and LSU have sent Radley letters.
