Lewis is a big fan of Bob Sanders

Indianapolis safety Isaiah Lewis was flying a little bit under the radar a few months ago, but that is no longer the case as he has emerged with scholarship offers and interest from several different college football programs.

Currently, the 5-foot-11, 190-pound Lewis is sitting on offers from Iowa, Indiana, Purdue, and Kentucky with interest from Cincinnati, Ohio State, and Minnesota, among others.

As a junior, Lewis racked up an impressive 128 tackles and three interceptions as he helped lead Ben Davis High School to a 10-4 record.

Growing up in Indianapolis, the high school junior says he is a big fan of the Colts and especially his favorite player, safety Bob Sanders, who was the NFL's defensive player of the year in 2007. Sanders, who graduated from Iowa in 2003, is a player that Lewis tries to emulate on the field.
