Recruitment soars for Oregon WR

Oregon State feels that recruiting and keeping the best athletes from the state of Oregon is the backbone of their program. Such in-state standouts as Derek Anderson and Bill Swancutt have recently called Oregon State home and have been standouts on the field for the Beavers. Keanon Lowe, a talented wide receiver from Portland (Ore.) Jesuit is one of the latest targets to land on the Oregon State radar.

With an early offer on the table, Oregon State has caught Lowe's attention, but the Beavers have plenty of company when it comes to recruiting one of Oregon's finest.

"Recruiting is going great," said Lowe. "Right now I have offers from Oregon State, BYU, Washington, Stanford and I just received an offer from Colorado today."

While the early attention has been great, Lowe does not plan to drag out his college decision.
