SoCal LB can do it all

Linebacker/running back Princeton Suimaono (6-1, 190, 4.6) from Long Beach (Calif.) Jordan probably projects as an outside linebacker or safety on the D-I level depending upon the defensive scheme of the college he ends up attending.

The word is just getting out on the abilities of Suimaono, but Arizona, Oregon, Washington, San Diego State and Hawai'i are already showing recruiting interest and are ahead of the curve.

Suimaono earned first-team all-league, first-team Long Beach Telegram Dream Team and was his high school team's Defensive Player of the Year after accounting for 94 tackles, 56 of which were solo, three sacks, one fumble recovery and one interception.

"Princeton is a good football player," Meyer said. "He's instinctive, tough, and athletic. Like all good football players, he makes a lot of plays."
