Scary knee injury avoided, says Stew

MORGANTOWN--Dave Johnson is a religious guy. So, you would think he was summoning all the power the Almighty had to give in the first half of Saturday's spring game. When left tackle Don Barclay collapsed on Mountaineer Field, there were about 15,000 fans who may have been forming a collective prayer chain, too.

Barclay, 6-4, 298, is the redshirt sophomore who is expected to team with true sophomore Josh Jenkins on the left side of Johnson's offensive line next season. The Big East Academic All-Star played in all 13 games as a backup last season. He produced knockdowns in nine games.
