Brown open to all offers

Martin Luther King High School running back Mack Brown has many offers on the table, but he is says he is open to any school at this point in the recruiting process.

"I am going to wait until the season to make a decision because I have all these offers," Brown said. "I am going to go to four camps this summer at Florida, Alabama, Oklahoma and one other camp. Right now I am wide open."

In state, Brown plans to give both the Yellow Jackets and Bulldogs another look while visiting ten schools over the next few months.

"I am going to take another visit to both Georgia and Georgia Tech in the early part of the summer," Brown said.

Program stability is vitally important for Brown and is the first thing he looks at when evaluating a school.

"The first thing I am looking at is if the coach will be there when I get there and will he stay until I leave. That is a big thing."

Getting touches and having a chance to be the centerpiece of an offensive attack is a major selling point for Brown.

"I want to see how schools use their running backs in the offense," Brown said "That is really important to me."

Georgia Tech's run oriented attack appeals to Brown.

"I love the way Georgia Tech runs the ball," he said. "They utilize the running back in different places on the field in different spots. I think I would be an A-back in their offense."

Before his senior season begins, Brown will be spending a lot of his time working on his pass protection to expedite his chances of seeing action as a true freshman.

"I am working on pass blocking in the offseason trying to get better," he said.
