Malcome gives hint as to his two favorite schools

STOCKBRIDGE - Southwest DeKalb running back Kendum Malcome was about as subtle as a Mack truck when he dropped a hint when asked about his top two schools.

"I'll give you a clue; one's a Bulldog and one's a Sooner," Malcome said.

Considering that Malcome lists Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida, Clemson and West Virginia as his top five schools, it's pretty easy to tell which two he means.
No doubt Georgia and Oklahoma would love to add Malcome to their respective fold.

Malcome is one of six running backs from the class of 2010 currently holding offers from Georgia, although one - San Diego's Brennan Clay - recently committed to the Sooners. Malcome shrugged off the notion that Clay's decision would affect him in either way.

"Anywhere I go I know there's going to be competition," Malcome said. "I'm not even focused on that right now."

Of late, Malcome's main focus has been getting healthy.

Just last week, the 6-foot, 213-pounder re-tweaked a hamstring that kept him from participating in Lane Kiffin's prospect camp at Tennessee, but Saturday was able to run through his share of drills.

"I came out here and I felt a lot better. I stretched it, I and iced it when I got home," Malcome said. "I think I did well. I caught a lot of balls, which is what I wanted to do. I wanted to show that I can catch balls as well as run it."

Georgia coaches will get to see for themselves when Malcome attends camp at Georgia next Saturday. Next week, Malcome travels to Oklahoma before heading to Ohio State on June 26.

"I just want to show (coaches) what I can do," said Malcome, who compares his running style to Adrian Petersen and Brandon Jacobs.

"I can run you over, but I can run around you, too," Malcome said. "I can give a move, a one-step or a spin-move and take it the house."
